We provide a detailed list of the 182 taxa and 2,836 specimens of Scarabaeoidea (families Geotrupidae, Glaphyridae, Hybosoridae, Lucanidae, Scarabaeidae and Trogidae) from Palaearctic Africa. All information associated with each specimen is now available in the MCNB open collections and GBIF platform. Reference is also provided regarding the historical context in which the collection began and the main collectors who made it possible.
