ANNEX 6:  VEHICLE FLEET 
The evaluation of the environmental quality of the transport fleet is an automatic 
criterion for which the following formula can be applied:

Notes 
·       If only 1 vehicle is involved, there is no formula, but rather the number of points 
is assigned directly to the badge, following a similar progression to the one 
indicated here for the coefficients. 
·       It is advisable to request that the bidding company commits to assigning the 
vehicle or vehicles to the service (it does not have to be exclusive). In this 
manner, only the vehicle or vehicles assigned are valued, which also simplifies 
the procedure. In any event, doing so also requires the bidding company to 
present a declaration of compliance concerning the assignment of the vehicle or 
vehicles and the accuracy of the data. In this sense, it is advisable that the 
specifications include a model of a declaration of compliance. 
·       When no allocation is required, what is valued is the quality of the whole of the 
company’s fleet used for transporting meals. This is the most complex scenario: 
the bidding company has to provide information on all the vehicles and all of 
them are included in the evaluation. By applying the coefficients, the average 
environmental quality of the available fleet is obtained and the applicable score 
is established by means of the formula. In this case, it is not necessary to 
provide a declaration of compliance for the allocation, only for the accuracy of 
the data. As the number of vehicles may be high, it is advisable to attach a 
model schedule and require bidding companies to submit the information by 
completing the table.
