Abstract: Ivàlua has evaluated, for the second consecutive year, the implementation of the Baobab programme, an initiative of the Institut Municipal d'Educació de Barcelona (IMEB) which aims to strengthen community-based free time education in neighbourhoods where the free time education network is weak or non-existent. It is an initiative framed in the Pla de Barris. The evaluation carried out during 2018 has had a double aspect. On the one hand, the analysis of the first monitoring data has been carried out. On the other hand, the analysis of the first data collected with this monitoring system, referring to the end of 2018, has been carried out, and an exploration of the factors that may favour the emergence and consolidation of leisure time education activities on an associative basis has been carried out.
