| Abstract: | New data are provided on the distribution of three species of the genus Colon Herbst, 1797 (Leiodidae, Coloninae) that confirm their presence in the peninsular area. Likewise, six other species belonging to the Elateridae, Cleridae, Cryptophagidae, Latridiidae, Erotylidae and Bothrideridae families are treated, new records are provided for the Iberian Peninsula, their distribution is discussed and expanded and the data known about its biology is commented. Finally, a chromatic aberration of the Erotylidae Dacne (Dacne) bipustulata (Thunberg, 1781) is commented and represented. The aedeagus and the hind leg of the male of the three species of the genus Colon are figured for its determination; the habitus of the male and if necessary that of the female are represented for the rest of the species.
