| Abstract: | The presence of Megabruchidius dorsalis (Fåhraeus, 1839) (Coleoptera: Chrysomelidae: Bruchinae) in the city of Barcelona, a species already mentioned in 2017, is confirmed with the capture of a new specimen. The introduction of this exotic and invasive species in the European continent is discussed. Data on its biology are given and its habitus is represented.
