| Abstract: | Ptylodactyla exotica Chapin, 1927 was detected for the first time in the Iberian Peninsula in planters with exotic plants inside a hydrotherapy center (spa) in a hotel located in the city of Barcelona. This record corresponds to the first date of the Pilodactylidae family in the Iberian Peninsula. A brief description of the male and female is given and their distribution and known biology are discussed. It is complemented by the graphic representation of the habitus of the two sexes, aedeagus and larva.
