Abstract: | The invasive fly Zaprionus indianus Gupta, 1970 (Diptera: Drosophilidae) is recorded for the first time from Cuba, Antillas Mayores, on the basis of specimens collected on ripe fruits in San Antonio de los Baños, Artemisa Province. This polyphagous fly, of African origin, has been dispersed in several countries of the world and is considered as a threat for biodiversity and the economy.
