| Description: | Gluphisia rurea (Fabricius, 1787) occurs in the Iberian Peninsula in two discrete nuclei: one in the Basque–Cantabrian zone and the other centred on Catalonia. While the western population shows a preference for the colline zone, below 200 m in alti- tude, the eastern one exhibits a clear preference for the montane zone, at elevations ranging from 800 to 1,400 m. With respect to the phenology of G. rurea in the Iberian Peninsula, the data collected in this article confirm that it is a bivoltine species, with a first generation from mid-April to early July, and a second from early July to the middle of September. Gluphisia rurea (Fabricius, 1787) aparece en la península ibérica en dos núcleos separados: uno en la zona cantábrica y otro en Cataluña. Mientras que la población occidental se sitúa preferentemente en el piso colino, por debajo de los 200 m de alti- tud, la oriental muestra preferencia por el piso montano, en cotas comprendidas entre 800 y 1.400 m. En cuanto a la fenología de G. rurea en la península ibérica, los datos recopilados en este artículo confirman que se trata de una especie bivoltina, con una primera generación desde mediados de abril hasta principios de julio y una segunda desde principios de julio hasta mediados de septiembre. |
